ghd has expanded its Styler Trade-In campaign in New Zealand, with the ghd chronos curve range included in the initiative for the first time.
Returning for its third campaign, the limited-time programme will run until 15 September 2026, giving consumers the opportunity to trade in an old hair tool from any brand when upgrading to selected ghd chronos products.
Customers purchasing a ghd chronos or ghd chronos max styler can receive a $150 refund after returning their existing tool, while those purchasing a ghd chronos curve curler can receive $100 back.
The initiative combines a consumer incentive with ghd's recycling programme, ensuring returned hair tools are responsibly recycled rather than discarded.
The expansion to include chronos curve follows the introduction of ghd's advanced styling technology across its curling range. The chronos collection is designed to deliver styling at the brand's optimum temperature of 185°C, with a focus on creating smoother, shinier results without the use of extreme heat.
The ghd chronos max features larger plates to accommodate wider sections of hair, targeting consumers with longer, thicker or curlier hair, while chronos curve extends the technology into curling tools designed to create curls and waves with enhanced shine and smoothness.
