For its AW26 edition, Copenhagen Fashion Week has introduced the Homecoming slot.
This is a special recognition awarded to a Nordic brand returning to the CPHFW schedule after seasons of showing abroad, symbolising the strength and growth of Nordic fashion.
For the AW26 edition, Copenhagen Fashion Week is excited to announce Holzweiler as the official Homecoming slot.
“We continually strive to build a schedule that best represents the incredible creative impact of the Nordics,” said Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week.
“In light of our anniversary, it felt like the perfect moment to introduce this honorary slot, and to have Holzweiler, one of the most internationally acclaimed Nordic brands, as the first recipient.”
Having shown at Copenhagen Fashion Week from SS18–AW23 before joining London Fashion Week, Holzweiler has come to signal not only a Norwegian success story, but a reputable fashion leader.
The AW26 edition will mark their return to the Copenhagen Fashion Week schedule from hereforth.
Maria Skappel Holzweiler, Creative Director of Holzweiler, said she truly missed Copenhagen and the Scandinavian fashion scene.
“Experiencing London was incredible, but returning to Copenhagen feels like coming home. We love creating shows that tell stories and bring people together. There’s something magical about dressing personalities in our collection on the catwalk, surrounded by beautiful settings, music, light, and energy,” she said.
“For us, it’s about creating something together, connecting with people, and celebrating each season through those shared moments.”
