The WISDOM for Pre-Fall collection is a tribute to the interconnectedness of all things and the profound beauty that resides within customers.
WISDOM’s foundation is a sense of grounding, bringing with it a feeling of warmth, harmony, and envelopment.
A sophisticated sensibility defines the silhouette, with an altogether feminine essence seen in the softness of a long-line silk dress that drapes seamlessly off the body, in the meticulous interplay of textures and patterns in knitwear, and in clean and timeless elegance in impeccable tailoring.
Guided by the timeless artistry of Constantin Brâncuși's sculptural wooden works, a new hourglass silhouette is explored in tailored dresses and coats, celebrating and accentuating the feminine form. A subtle wood grain jacquard print imbues the Malla dress, utilising a new exaggerated hip shape and twisted strap details, adding a nod to traditional elegance.
“We have brought the notion of Mother Earth to life through the warmth and rawness of fabrics, the strength in silhouettes, and the casting of real women with a sense of a life well lived, women who portray an enigmatic quality that binds the season together,” said creative director Camilla Freeman-Topper.
“I wanted to slow down and honour a sense of presence so that the collection feels like a warm hug through the honouring ritual of dress.”
Camilla and Marc have witnessed natural cycles in nature, with tension created through androgyny. Angular and sharp tailoring reigns, creating a powerful feeling that conjures a strong sense of presence and strength.
Fringe accents have been utilised across various styles to convey a series of straw pieces moving harmoniously.
The Renzo quilted coat embodies the essence of woven straw, both in its colour palette and tactile texture. This further highlights the collection's homage to natural materials and craftsmanship.
Luxuriously soft shearling, faux fur and Australian wool knits define key outerwear and accessories, imparting a sense of warmth and security reminiscent of a comforting embrace, a nurturing gesture akin to a mother's hug, offering solace and protection in the face of uncertainty.
As a modern take on an earthy colour palette, the collection uses hues of chocolate, raspberry, smokey quartz, and khaki throughout.
Drawing inspiration from the earth's bounty, this collection pays homage to its elemental wonders through organic textures and patterns reminiscent of wood, stone, and straw, evoking a reverence and profound respect for the environment.
