On March 29, the Leather and Hide Council of America (LHCA) will be announcing updates on their international student design competition, ‘Real Leather. Stay Different’ at the upcoming ‘Future trends in a post-covid leather industry’ half-day conference at Dubai's world’s leading leather trade show, APLF.

By sharing the success of its design competitions, which have garnered thousands of entries across 40 countries, LHCA aims to inspire and teach regional leather industries how to host their own competitions.

Michael Schumpp, the Associate Director of International Programs for the LHCA in Washington, DC will also be delving into LHCA’s marketing plans, as well as promoting the beauty, versatility, and sustainability of real leather to the industry.
