Not long ago, gaming company Drest appointed expert Henri Holm as their new Chief Financial Officer. The company, which explores fashion, beauty and lifestyle, has just raised £15 million. It plans to develop its latest proposal for Drest 2.0.
Over the past four years, Drest has recorded 250 percent year-on-year user growth and partnered with several luxury brands, including Cartier, Christian Louboutin, Fendi, Gucci, Prada and Valentino.
The game allows players to exhibit and improve their styling talent through hyper-realistic avatars. It also allows users to generate content and is an excellent tool for brand marketing and audience engagement.
“We are thrilled to have secured investment to help us scale DREST, especially in such a tough market. This is a testament to the strength of our product delivery and pipeline of ideas,” said Lisa Bridgett, CEO of Drest. “We are now ready to take the business to the next level and offer our users a unique experience while maintaining the game’s core elements. There is an undeniable interest in gaming from the luxury fashion and lifestyle industries, and we are very well positioned to cater to this increasing demand.”
This funding will help Drest evolve and add new and improved features, making it a leading creative platform in fashion, technology, and gaming. The company is also exploring additional games that can be added within the web3 and lifestyle space.
