Pure London x JATC, the United Kingdom’s largest fashion festival, has announced its partnership with the Graduate Fashion Foundation (GFF) for the second consecutive season. This aimed to promote their commitment to supporting emerging talent and giving the next generation of fashion innovators the platform to showcase their skills.
The show opened at Olympia London from the 11th to the 13th of February and was attended by a wide range of alumni, buyers and fashion connoisseurs. The Catwalk ran eight times across the three-day event, with each show displaying innovative designs from the Graduate Fashion Foundation.
The former GFF winners chosen for the catwalk are Leah Holmes, Joy Julius, Zoë MacCormack, Adam Gronback and Jogaile Zairyte.
“Graduate Fashion Foundation is a charitable organisation and an essential part of the fashion industry which acts as a springboard for graduates and an important source of new talent for the global design industry.”
Alongside this, Megan Doyle, the Associate Director of the GFF, hosted a panel as part of the Pure London x JATC content schedule. It focused on providing advice and guidance from industry leaders for those seeking a career within the industry.
“It is the perfect collaboration as we are dedicated to supporting and nurturing the talent of today’s young designers, innovators and creators who will lead the fashion industry in the future,” commented Pure London event director Gloria Sandrucci. “It is a thrill to see former Graduate Fashion Week winners present their collections as part of the Pure London x JATC catwalk. I know that they and the visitors watching will experience something truly exciting.”
