Solo New York Aims to Eliminate 40 Million Plastic Bottles From Landfills

Solo New York is proud to launch the extension of their Re:cycled Collection. Every bag in the collection is made out of recycled PET bottles and Solo NY has set the goal to eliminate 40 million plastic bottles from landfills by 2024.

Along with creating bags from recycled PET bottles, Solo NY takes it to the next level by phasing out polybags with biodegradable and compostable mailers made from non-GMO corn starch. Further, the brand is updating all hang tags on its products to be made from 100 percent recycled materials, which are also recyclable and biodegradable.

Solo NY's partnership with the National Forest Foundation is also helping offset the company's carbon footprint by replanting trees.

The collection includes three different backpacks, a briefcase, a tablet sleeve, an underseat rolling case as well as a carry-on.
