Stolen Girlfriends Club x Ziggy Knuiman

Stolen Girlfriends Club has collaborated with self-taught local artist Ziggy Knuiman. The result is two memorable shirts crafted in soft draped viscose.

Knuiman and Marc Moore, Founder and Creative Director of Stolen Girlfriends Club both grew up in Raglan. They first met when Knuiman completed an internship at Stolen Girlfriends Club in 2012.

Since their first meeting, Knuiman has harnessed his creative passion and grown as an artist, creating bold and exciting artwork. He curated and hosted his first group show in 2020, following it up with a second show in 2022.

“I use acrylic paint and ink pens to create vibrant art that generally has a dark gothic undertone to it, often walking the line between confronting and playful while telling stories through character's facial expressions and the worlds that I create around them,” said Knuiman.

After seeing Knuiman’s works on Instagram, and feeling inspired by two pieces, ‘Tough Guy’ and ‘The Blues’, Moore reached out to Knuiman about the potential of using them for a shirt he was developing.

Knuiman’s art is a depiction of maximalism at its finest, combined with Stolen Girlfriend Club’s sleek biker-inspired designs it's a match made in fashion heaven.
