The Homes Edition of Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags Debuts With Record Numbers

Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags has quickly responded to the times by offering a revolutionary exhibition format based on Artificial Intelligence.

The significant success noted from the number of participants and connections at the debut of the Home Edition, confirms its role as the reference point for the volume footwear and accessory industry.

There are 222 companies present in the exhibitors’ area, attracting a record of over 21,000 views in the first four days of the event alone, and almost 9,000 products inserted and consulted in the catalogue by over 1,800 registered buyers. These, to sum up, are the figures recorded on the Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags platform, where the Home Edition will remain active until 30th April 2021.

This goal was achieved due to the wise use of technology and the desire to continue to create a system through innovative methods, based on substantial assets. Moreover, the contribution from leading businesses in the international footwear scene offered quality content within the Expo Riva Show programme -a virtual stage where 34 speakers alternated.

Well-known figures from two leading Italian universities took part – the Bocconi University and the ‘Sacro Cuore’ Catholic University, as well as trade associations such as Assocalzaturifici, Assoprov and Assomac, and market-leading companies including Bata, OVS and Steve Madden.

The Expo Riva Show programme turned out to be an important opportunity for all the buyers and companies who have always chosen the Riva del Garda hub to conduct their business in this sector, and which, on this occasion, was efficiently replicated with a highly functional digital platform.  This tool made it possible for companies to present their products for the Autumn/Winter ‘21/’22 collections with a new, online catalogue.

The Home Edition of Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags is not closing its doors just yet, but will continue to offer support for the community with an active, concrete dialogue that will continue over the coming months, until the next Summer edition, planned from 13th to 15th June 2021 at the Riva del Garda Exhibition Centre, which will once again involve all the leaders of the exhibition.

The next dates are planned for 28th January, 11th February and then again on 4th, 11th and 15th and 8th April, with live talks planned to accompany the innovative Showroom, the channel dedicated to the presentation of the new collections and discussions regarding the next fashion trends, and will be active on 18th and 19th February.

Until 30th April 2021, recordings of all the sessions in the programme will be available on-demand on www.exporivaschuh.it.
