UNEXPECTED DUO LAUNCH FIRST STORE

David Jones has partnered up with service station, BP to open their first co-branded store located in Bayside, Melbourne. The store will deliver high-quality items and change the way consumers shop.

Offering more than 400 products with food-for-now and food-for-later options, the store will also continue to stock products from the Wild Bean Café.

BP is open 24 hours daily with easy parking access and an innovative design to make the shopping experience as easy as possible. "Our Bayside BP and David Jones Food Store offer customers a glimpse into the future of shopping on our Australian forecourts," said BP Australia vice president, Brooke Miller. "We are aiming to deliver an outstanding retail experience with the highest quality fresh food at a great value."

The store's design will cater to busy, urban communities as the store been carefully arranged to meet the customer's expectations. "This is another important step in BP's strategy to transform convenience retailing in Australia and deliver market-leading fuels, technology, rewards and differentiated convenience offers to Australian consumers."

Several other partner stores are planned to open in different suburbs by March 2020.
