Vans has partnered with Proenza Schouler, a New York-based women's fashion and accessories brand founded by designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.
Proenza Schouler, influenced by art and design and Vans’ skateboarding heritage, has put a spin on the Classic Slip-On. The result is the Vans x Proenza Schouler Puffy Slip-On, a modern take on the iconic '70s silhouette.
It plays with exaggerated proportions and is made of high-quality leather, showcasing both wearable luxury and contemporary craftsmanship.
Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Proenza Schouler's Creative Directors and Co-Founders, expressed their appreciation for the collaboration with Vans.
"We are honoured to collaborate with Vans to reinterpret their iconic Slip-On silhouette using Proenza Schouler brand codes. A shared appreciation for strong design and fine craftsmanship informed the project from beginning to end. We couldn't be more excited to share this project with all of you today finally."
The campaign for the Vans x Proenza Schouler Puffy Slip-On was brought to life by the talented photographer Alessio Bolzoni and stylist Thistle Brown. The visuals juxtapose the Slip-On's soft texture with the vibrant urban elements of New York.
The Slip-On is available in two sophisticated colours, ecru and black, and features a custom Proenza Schouler footbed and sleek glossed sidewalls.
The Vans x Proenza Schouler Puffy Slip-On is now available.
