Australian women’s footwear retailer Wittner has announced it will be opening its doors in Wellington. This will be the first store in New Zealand for the company and is set to open in October in the former Dick Smith store in Featherston Street. It will be one of the largest footwear retailers in the city taking over a 250 square metre space.
After year-on-year growth for its online sales, Wittner will be dispatching orders from this store as well as being stocked in the soon-to-open David Jones store. Melbourne-based chief executive Peter Wittner said that it would be the first of many across New Zealand as part of its export strategy.
