New managing director for Louis Vuitton Oceania

Former Sephora general manager, Libby Amelia, has been appointed Louis Vuitton's managing director for Australia and New Zealand. The luxury retailer's parent company LVMH Moët Hennessy recorded revenue of €21.8 billion in the first half of 2018. Boasting a 10 percent increase from the previous period. Amelia was in management roles at Virgin Airlines and Lorna Jane, before joining the Sephora team where she launched their e-commerce across Australia and New Zealand.

"Despite buoyant global demand, monetary and geopolitical uncertainties remain," said Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH. "In this context, we will stay vigilant and rely on the talent of our teams and the shared entrepreneurial passion to further increase our leadership in the world of high quality products in 2018."
