A’kin Makes Comeback

Entirely sulphate and silicone free,  35-year-old brand A’kin has made a comeback with new formulations, sealing their place in the clean, affordable hair and skincare market. With fourteen new products ranging from shampoo to deodorant, A’kin’s new collection aims to help customers feel confident in their skin and hair.

All the products are 100 percent vegan and cruelty-free, each carefully formulated and infused with potent botanical ingredients with no irritants. Chemists have dermatologically tested these products to achieve proven results, ensuring customers don’t have to compromise on equality. 

“The groundbreaking haircare range is entirely sulphate and silicone-free and is made from Australian Botanical ingredients alongside advanced skincare ingredients to deliver benefits for each of the major hair concerns.” 

The brand has launched five ranges: deep clean, damage repair, daily shine, volume boost and sensitive. They have also released two types of deodorants in three scents. 

The hair care products are the Daily Shine shampoo and conditioner, the Daily Shine Hair Mask, the Deep Clean shampoo and conditioner, the Deep Clean scalp scrub, the Damage Repair shampoo and conditioner, the damage repair leave-in conditioner, the Volume Boost shampoo and conditioner, the Sensitive shampoo and conditioner. 

The deodorant products are the rose & mint spray-on and roll-on deodorant, the lime & orange spray and roll-on deodorant and the geranium & wood spray and roll-on deodorant. 

The comeback means that A’kin can reduce its environmental impact with all single-use plastic and pumps removed from the range. A’kin has also introduced ARL logos on all primary and secondary packaging to help educate consumers on how to dispose of empty packaging in the proper way. 

All products are made up of at least 70 percent post-consumer recycled plastic and are 100 percent kerbside recyclable. All secondary packaging is made from 100 percent recycled cardboard that is 100 percent kerbside recyclable.
