AUSTRALIA | BIG W is overhauling its clothing ranges, following an 18-month journey of extensive customer, industry and quality research.
BIG W has launched 82 new and improved products across women’s and men’s basics to address customer feedback on fit.
A new initiative has seen BIG W’s product development teams work closely with real customers and team members through wear and wash testing to find opportunities to improve the fit, size consistency, and comfort of its clothing.
Providing quality design at affordable prices has remained a priority. Customers can find key on-trend looks for less and elevated everyday basics in the new Basics range, with 80 percent currently priced under $20.
“As one of Australia’s most trusted brands, BIG W is continuously listening to the needs of Aussie families. Our customer listening sessions uncovered that our shoppers struggled with the fit and quality of some of our products,” said Lowri Breed, BIG W’s Head of Clothing.
“Rather than shying away from negative feedback, we chose to face it head-on and work collaboratively with our customers to create a new and improved standard across our clothing department. The basics range is just the start of our transformation in delivering quality, comfortable and durable products that meet the demands of everyday wear.”
The new Basics range at BIG W includes denim, basic tees, linen blends and activewear.
Customers looking to try the new products can find them in BIG W’s new Basics range, available in-store, online, or through the BIG W app in a range of colours and sizes.
