Catch Group, Australia’s largest e-commerce platform, has saved the iconic New Zealand brand Pumpkin Patch. The company purchased the brand and intellectual property assets for an undisclosed sum.

“There is a strong history of passion for the Pumpkin Patch brand locally and internationally,” said Catch Group CEO Nati Harpaz. “As parents of kids who wear and love Pumpkin Patch we couldn’t just sit back and let the brand disappear.”

Pumpkin Patch was suddenly placed in voluntary administration and closed all its retail stores in 2016 after 26 years as New Zealand’s foremost childrenswear retailer. Catch Group is working to relaunch the brand and its online stores by the end of the year.
