The stunning AXIS - Anatomy Of Space is presented by Daniel Belton and Good Company Art, it is a compelling new Dome Cinema Dance project hosted by the Otago Museum. The experience is 40 minutes long and is held in the Perpetual Guardian Planetarium. The film showcases artists from the Royal New Zealand Ballet, Singapore's contemporary music scene and couture by Tanya Carlson. Carlson said she met with Daniel Belton a year ago to talked about movement, light, transparency, and energy. She originally made seven garments of which only five were put into production.
AXIS draws its audience into a kaleidoscopic journey filled with movement and charts space with planetary cartography, fashion design, contemporary dance and sound. This unique and uplifting sensory experience is part of iD Fashion Week and can be seen at 5:30pm and 6:30pm on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th March. To purchase tickets, click here.
