Converse have today announced the release of the Chuck Taylor All Star Cruise, a brand new silhouette that boldly pushes style to welcome in the next chapter of the Chuck Taylor legacy.
The Cruise was designed to pay homage to the counterculture fashion scene that adopted the Chuck Taylor All Star as its own. The Cruise features a lightweight, canvas and suede construction, lined with skate-inspired elements.
A disrupted, elevated and layered midsole adds a modern touch and distinguishes the Cruise from the classic Chuck Taylor without losing the signature converse style.
The Cruise is available in three colourways, Pink Sage, Egret, and Black. Each pair comes with an additional pair of fat laces as a nod to the skate scene.
Comfort is a main feature of the new silhouette, which features a foam midsole, OrthoLite cushioning and a lightweight EVA-injected outsole.
The Chuck Taylor All Star Cruise range debuts globally this month.
