Design-A-Bag (DAB) Online Competition, the leather bag designing event for designers and design students worldwide, has announced the opening of submissions for 2024.
Organized by Fashion Access, the annual competition aims to foster creativity and highlight the talent of bag designers from diverse backgrounds. The competition offers participants the opportunity to showcase their unique and innovative creations to a global audience of industry professionals.
The 2024 theme is Genderless. DAB challenges designers to create the ultimate genderless bag, with leather as the main material. The form and function will need to appeal to a wide audience, regardless of their gender.
Finalists will be sponsored to attend Fashion Access 2024 in Hong Kong, which is held alongside APLF Leather and Materials+, the international exhibition for leather and fashion manufacturing industries. The Overall DAB Winner will win a four-week design course at Arsutoria School in Milan.
The submission deadline is 12 January 2024.
