This Thursday, June 23rd the latest collaboration release between Dr. Martens x Betty Boop is launching!
The Dr. Martens x Betty Boop collection was created in homage to the mischievous and rebellious spirit of Betty Boop herself.
Be more Betty. Trailblazing and ahead of her time, Betty Boop symbolised liberation, vulnerability, strength, femineity, and toughness. Doc's collaboration with Betty Boop celebrates what it means to be both. To be everything.
The collection features three reworked iconic styles. The Jadon Boot, the 1461 Quad Shoe, and the Clarissa Quad Sandal. Each shoe has an unmistakable branded Betty Boop swing tag attached and of course, features the iconic Docs signature yellow welt stitching.
Each pair comes with dual laces, including a standard cord and a velvet option—and a branded Betty Boop swing tag attached. The Jadon Boot's inner ankle zip is detailed with an enamel zip puller featuring Betty Boop.
Dr. Martens have given the 3-eye 1461 Quad shoe a Betty Boop makeover with no shortage of attitude. Constructed from the classic Smooth leather with bold heart-shaped printed metal toe caps. Detailed with heart-shaped eyelets and red heart rivets on the quarters and the backstrap.
Something a little different and no less bold—Dr. Martens have rebuilt their Clarissa II Quadsandal using a synthetic, vegan-friendly Kemble material in optical white. Stacked on the chunky Quad Shore sole. Detailed with domed heart-motif resin studs across the top strap and black heart and red stud rivets above the welt.
