Design is almost always a collaborative process, and for design duo Caty Bartholomeusz and Emily Chin, the spark began while studying together at New Zealand Fashion Tech. Their hands-on experience equipped them with the skills they needed to launch on their own right out of school, where they strive to produce quality ethical clothing that experiments with anti-figurative silhouettes equally with referencing the human body.

“Being involved in New Zealand Fashion Week is an incredible and valuable opportunity for us. As Budding designers we feel that this has been such an astonishing milestone to have achieved this early in our careers,” said Bartholomeusz.

Not knowing what to expect, the pair is excited to see what will happen post-Fashion Week, recognising its significance as a Launchpad for their careers in the industry.
