New conscious womenswear label, Esse will be popping up at BLOC for the month of April, sitting pretty alongside design-focused brands like Father Rabbit, Citta and Bo Concept. The pop-up store commenced this week until 30th April, and is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
Esse’s launch in New Zealand last year was quickly brought to a halt after its pop-up at Ponsonby Central, with the country going into lockdown. During that time founder and designer, Alicia Tsi poured her time into new designs and planning the brand’s sustainability roadmap.
The pop-up at BLOC will showcase Esse’s latest capsule of thoughtful, minimal designs made from its range of signature organic cotton, linen and tencel fabrics; these include Autumn essentials like the Modern Gypsy Dress and Painter’s Jacket.
In addition, the brand will be collaborating with mending advocate, Renee Williams of That Perfect Hour to host a workshop at the pop-up, where participants can learn basic stitching and mending techniques.
Enthusiasts of fashion and design can visit Esse’s pop-up until 30th April which is open daily from 9am – 5pm.
