February will see the latest instalment of the Texworld, Paris International Fair for Fashions of Fabric, Trims and Accessories. The event takes place twice a year and has been aptly named the Fairyland for Fashion.
Hosted in Paris, Le Bourget, the event features catwalks, interventions, trend forecasts and exhibits from over 1,800 industry professionals. Conferences run throughout the event so manufacturers can pick and choose the content they want to engage with. Seminar topics range from trade, economy and technology and all attempt to provide manufacturers with the most up to date information about their current marketplace. Professional buyers are offered a variety of products from the extensive range of exhibitors, which vary from basic to creative-high end material.
This year's event is featuring dedicated spaces for Sustainable Sourcing, Hand Made and Small Quantities itineraries, which will provide a unique experience for manufacturers who frequent the occasion. Additionally, following the success of their most recent instalment, Services Sector powered by Mouvtex will be returning to bolster the events sourcing show.
The event is a highlight for manufacturers and innovators alike, as it provides industry professionals with the chance to update their understanding of the current market, liaise with potential partners and develop a new approach to discovering trends. This years event will take place between the 11-14 of February and is estimated to attract over 15,000 visitors.
