Fashion Community Week 4-Day Hybrid Event

Fashion Community Week is one of the largest Fashion Events on the West Coast that celebrates International and Local Fashion Designers and brands alike. The week celebrates and supports all of the latest emerging Fashion & Beauty talents that are being launched into the industry.

The incredible 4-day event consisted of a hybrid performance with a virtual runway show and conference followed by an on-site fashion show and fashion week opening party.

The first day of four commenced with a virtual Fashion Tech Conference, with a conversation on the future of the fashion industry and sustainability. The presenting speakers were CEOs of Heuritech (Tony Pinville), WearableX (Billie Whitehouse), Bold Metrics (Daina Burnes), Yoona (Anna Franziska Michel) and Atelier No.9 (Emi Cho).

The second day began with a press conference followed by a fashion week opening party. The evening was celebrated with delicious cocktails, networking, socializing and live media interviews with the industry attendees.

The third day featured the most popular day of the Fashion week, a Unique Fashion show at the magnificent Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel. The evening commenced with an elegant runway show featuring seven local and international fashion designers.

The presenting runway designers were: Emelie Marcelle from Paris, Kudsedia from India, Muriel’s from Vermont, Ben Babadi (Florence- San Francisco), Lisa Conte from Milan,  Dokke (France- Senegal) and the KTR collection from Korea. All collections were available to shop from the runway immediately after the show.

The final day featured a virtual fashion show that debuted global fashion brands.

As well as supporting upcoming designers, every season, the organization selects an important cause to benefit during its fashion week editions. This season, support was given to the Ukrainian Mothers and Children in collaborations with the nonprofit PWIC Global impact and designer ‘Ukrainian Bravery’. All proceeds are benefitting towards Humanitarian crisis.
