Global Climate Strike: 25th of March

If current generations don’t care about the future of our planet, who will? We Don’t Care,” is the newest public service announcement style video collaboration by FRED & FARID and Fridays for Future U.S. that begs the question if we don’t care about climate, then who will?

The video was launched to announce the March 25th Global Climate Strike. “We Don’t Care” reminds its audience that the climate crisis is not being treated like the crisis it is. If our leaders and those in power don’t care, we won’t be able to bypass the detrimental effects of climate change. Climate is everywhere, and we must act on it now.

The effects of climate change are all around us, with catastrophic floods in Germany and China, devastating droughts in the entire East African region, and wildfires burning down more than 7.6 million acres of land in the United States alone.

As well as natural disasters, climate change has tremendous effects on the increased spread of infectious diseases and COVID-19, both of which have been worsened by climate factors such as temperature, wind speed, and humidity.

Fridays For Future is a global climate movement that was launched in August 2018, when Greta Thunberg formed a school strike for climate change.

Since then, Fridays For Future has evolved into a global initiative, uniting people in over 100 countries to protest outside local parliaments and city halls, and spread word about the seriousness of our planet’s situation – all in a combined effort to motivate every human to take action and fix climate change, now.
