"Visually the collections will amaze crowds with bold colours, innovative techniques, detailing, hand-made lace and fabrics, and inspiring creativity," said Tanya Carlson, judge, iD Fashion Week Emerging Designer Awards.
Joining the judging panel this year is New Zealand-born designer Emilia Wickstead, who has designed for big names including the Duchess of Cambrige. Wickstead will also showcase a selection from her previous two AW collections at the main iD Dunedin Fashion Week Event, which include several couture pieces worn on the red carped by international celebrities.
“Emilia Wickstead’s chic and elegant designs have created an international following and we’re delighted to have her back in her home country showing at iD.
