Making the professional leap from wearing clothes to designing them herself, model Gigi Hadid announced on Instagram that she is working on her own fashion line called Guest in Residence.
Giving her followers a glimpse of the side-hustle, Hadid shared behind-the-scenes snaps of herself reviewing colour palettes, fabric swatches and clothing tag labels, as well as showing a few of the sample pieces she has already been wearing. The photos show the line will focus on knitwear and cashmere, with the Guest in Residence logo touting its offerings are 100 percent cashmere.
This is not Hadid’s only venture into the world of fashion design. In 2016, Tommy Hilfiger announced the TommyXGigi clothing collection in collaboration with the model. Recently, Hadid partnered with her childhood friend and founder of Frankie’s Bikinis, Francesca Aiello, on a collaborative swimwear collection.
