Hyperbola Textile Co from Taiwan

Hong Kong Fashion Week is known for its new trends that forge endless opportunities. Starting on 10th July, this will be the 24th HKFW and showcases Spring/Summer collections. The event can be found at Hong Kong's Convention and Exhibition Centre under the theme Style In Motion. The four-day event welcomes over 1,100 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions. Some of the new comers hail from Canada, Nepal, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam and will be showcasing their latest fashion, fabrics, accessories and other professional services. Always evolving, HKFW has added Fashionable Sportswear and Urban Clothing to its zones lineup for this season. The event is sectioned into eighteen themed zones which address an array of needs throughout the fashion industry while facilitating an efficient matching of buyers and exhibitors.

International Fashion Designers’ Showcase is also returning this year to highlight several designers from across the globe. Among them, Indonesian designer Priscilla Listia who attended Vancouver Fashion Week is presenting her womenswear brand Mia Amica which has been acknowledged as an intangible world heritage product.

This year will also debut the World of Fashion Accessories which covers everything accessory-related from leggings to gloves to bags to footwear. Buyers will be able to source matching accessories at ease in this zone.

With the demand for functionality on the rise, HKFW has backed this with a development in functional fabrics. The Woolmark Company is the global authority on wool production and is just one of the many brands on display this season. They have developed a wool denim that preserves the look and style of traditional cotton denim, but has endless possibilities it can offer by adding traits such as softness, warmth, wrinkle-free and quick-drying.

Fashion technology is another zone available at HKFW that's packed with innovative products. Technology is what drives industry development and consumers now rely heavily on electronic apps in their everyday lives.

Overall, HKFW is an outstanding sourcing and marketing platform that presents visitors and exhibitors with endless opportunities for networking and acquisition of the newest market intelligence. On top of this, there will be a series of fashion shows and parades across the first three days of the event. Seminars and forums will be held by a number of special guest speakers covering topics from e-tailing strategies to application of wearable technologies to testing and certifications.
