Hotel Indigo Auckland has collaborated with local fashion house Oosterom and New Zealand Fashion Week 2025 (NZFW).

Auckland-based made-to-order clothing label, Oosterom, celebrates the artistry of designer Nicole Hadfield and has teamed up with Hotel Indigo Auckland to design a bespoke collection of accessories, including pocket squares, scarves, and hair scrunchies that complement the hotel’s uniform.

“The exclusive print reflects the essence of Auckland as a vibrant and evolving city, incorporating iconic landmarks such as the Civic Theatre, Auckland Art Gallery, Sky Tower, Victoria Park Market, Town Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and the Ferry Building. These architectural symbols serve as conversation starters, allowing hotel staff to share personal connections to the city’s rich creative and cultural heritage and the hotel’s own historic architecture as a motor house,” said Nicole Hadfield, Designer at Oosterom.

“The colour palette has been carefully selected to complement the hotel’s moss and forest green uniform, and features warm yellow, ruby red, and earthy tones. These hues not only accentuate the uniform but also blend seamlessly with the hotel lobby’s calming, organic interiors styled by Simone Hagg. It’s been a joy to collaborate with Hotel Indigo Auckland and create these custom-made uniform accessories.”

In addition to the partnership with Oosterom, Hotel Indigo Auckland is delighted to announce that it is the Official Accommodation Partner for New Zealand Fashion Week 2025. New Zealand’s most influential and highly anticipated fashion event will take place from 25th to 30th August 2025 at Shed 10 on Queens Wharf.

“At Hotel Indigo Auckland, we celebrate creativity, individuality, and the stories that shape our neighbourhood. Partnering with both emerging local, designer Oosterom and New Zealand Fashion Week allows us to showcase Auckland’s vibrant fashion and design scene while offering guests a truly immersive experience. From our bespoke uniform accessories designed by Nicole Hadfield to accommodating the industry’s most anticipated fashion event across our hotel and hospitality venues, we are proud to be at the forefront of Auckland’s cultural and creative landscape,” said Mathew Simister, General Manager at Hotel Indigo Auckland.

Liam Taylor, NZFW Director of the Board, said that, since 2001, NZFW has played a pivotal role in empowering and showcasing both local and international fashion talent.

“This August, we enter an exciting new era, reimagining Fashion Week to be more inclusive, diverse, sustainable, and consumer-focused than ever before. We are thrilled to welcome Hotel Indigo Auckland as our official accommodation partner. Our shared commitment to creativity and innovation makes this partnership a natural fit, and we admire the work they are doing to support up-and-coming designers like Oosterom, further strengthening the future of New Zealand fashion,” said Taylor.

New Zealand Fashion Week 2025 will include a dynamic schedule of runway events, talks, seminars, and on-and off-site activations, including events at Hotel Indigo Auckland. New Zealand’s leading designers and biggest names will present collections alongside the next generation of emerging talent defining the future of the industry.
