Intimates Inspired by 1970s Architecture

Inspired by the simplicity of architecture in the 1970s, Kye Intimates has released its new Recline collection.

Recline is a curated selection of lightweight, breathable loungewear that will remain classy for years.

A combination of bralettes, underwear and long sleeves, founder and designer Bonita Kye incorporated a simple but timeless silhouette into each piece.

In the 1970s, architecture saw a return to functionality alongside an ethos celebrating simplicity, utilitarianism, and a human-centred approach.

Inspired by this design philosophy, Kye created this collection of auspicious essentials. Recline, named after Mies Van Der Rohe’s reclining chair series, has arrived at the perfect time for winter cosiness.

The Mies Brief and Ikebana Bra are made of black mesh fabric, which allows wearers to feel breathable while remaining sexy. The same styles are available in neutral mesh tones, such as Cocoa and Bone.

Kye perfected the basics through the Recline Bateau Long Sleeve, a staple black long sleeve that comes to the hip. A luxuriously soft and environmentally conscious bamboo fabric was used, hugging the body in all the right places.

The Bateau long sleeve is perfectly paired with the Recline pant, a mid-rise sleep and lounge pant with an easy fit.

Underlena is the exclusive stockist of Kye Intimates in New Zealand.
