Lagerfeld said of selfies; "Is it because they don’t have enough knowledge about friends and people? I don’t understand it. It’s like a talkative mirror where people talk to themselves. And what I hate most in life is selfies." Let's hope models like Cara Delevingne get this memo before New York Fashion Week, where there will be plenty of backstage photoshoots, both professional and otherwise.
Largerfeld revealed his concerns with selfies when talking about his new newspaper that is to be launched later this month. The Karl Daily will include sketching, wordplay, photography and winking humor. "I think it’s fun, it’s modern, it’s not pretentious. It’s like a private joke," Largerfeld said of his new venture.
