Kathmandu Launches New Heli R Puffer Jacket

Building on the success of its insulation products, Kathmandu has introduced an improved version of its Heli franchise, the Heli R.

Kathmandu’s Heli R is made almost entirely from recycled materials, is incredibly lightweight and packable into its pocket. Being just as warm and strong as its predecessor, it is undoubtedly a wardrobe essential for winter.

A vital aspect of the Heli R’s warmth is that consumers can trace where their jackets came from. This aligns with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS), which assures Kathmandu sources from ethical suppliers.

Kathmandu’s Heli R is also the first to embed unique digital IDs into every Heli R product, letting customers discover the sustainability story behind their jackets throughout the entire circular process of its making.

The all-new Heli R comes in a playful colour palette, including mustard yellow, light quartz, undertow blue, beech green and lolly orange, inspired by New Zealand’s South Island.

The launch of the Heli R strengthens Kathmandu’s position as the go-to destination for all outdoor gear, especially puffer jackets in winter.

Available in vests, hooded and non-hooded down jackets, longline down coats, and synthetic jackets, the Heli R range starts at around $140 for kids' vests and goes up to $380 for adults.

For those who prefer an alternative to lightweight jackets, Kathmandu’s Epiq range has also expanded its colour options.
