Turet Knuefermann has been announced as this year's Mercedes-Benz Presents Designer and will open the week-long event in August. Trelise Cooper has signed on for yet another year of extravagant outfits and performances with two back-to-back on-site shows. Kathryn Wilson is celebrating 15 years of business this year with a show at NZFW. Another fashion week alumni member is Hailwood who is also returning. Huffer will present an off-site show close to the end of the week. Launching their brand at NZFW, Edmund Hillary Collection is a new outdoor clothing brand by the Hillary family.
Key buyers at the event are The Iconic and David Jones.
NZFW's new partnership with Viaduct Harbour will host a variety of off-site installations/exhibitions during the week featuring brands like Georgia Alice. NZFW also welcomes a new partnership with contemporary hotel M-Social.
