Levi’s Gets Loose

Levi's is embracing the current wave of loose-fitting jeans, taking inspiration from the 90s and 00s silhouettes for their new Loose Fits with the Baggy Dad Family. The '24 Autumn/Winter collection takes classic styles and has revamped them using the latest Levi's design technology.

The collection consists of three styles for women and two for men. The women's Baggy Family collection comprises the Baggy Dad, the Baggy Dad wide leg, and the Baggy Cargo.

The Baggy Dad is described as the ultimate relaxed jean, and its close relative, the Baggy Dad Wide Leg, features a pleated wide leg in a lightweight 10 oz. denim. The functional and stylish Baggy Cargo features utility pockets for a workwear vibe. All three styles come in a variety of colours, ranging from olive to classic denim blue.

For men, Levi's offers the 568 Stay Loose and 468 Stay Loose Short. Both pairs aim to recreate a vintage, second-hand look with 100 percent cotton denim. Both pairs sit at the waist with comfortable room around the thigh, the only difference being that the shorts stop just above the knee.

The majority of the campaign for this collection was photographed on a basketball court, encompassing the grunge skater subculture seen throughout the late 90s. Male models slam dunk basketballs into hoops with shoelaces as belts, promoting a carefree aesthetic re-popularised in 2023.

"The Levi's brand portfolio continues to evolve through a relentless pioneering and innovative spirit that is unparalleled in the apparel industry."

Levi's has created versatile wardrobe staples since 1873; this collection is no different.
