A South Korean department store is set to implement a new Virtual Fitting Service for customers to try on clothes without having to wear them. Lotte Department Store will install special mirrors in its changing rooms that use a virtual reflection of the customer wearing the clothing by applying a 3D image of the garment on the customers' body.

“We’re trying to create a more convenient environment for our customers by making use of the latest advanced technologies. We’ll continue our efforts to make store visits a more pleasant shopping experience,” said Lee Wan-shin, chief of marketing, Lotte Department Store.

Lotte is also planning to install 3D foot measuring devices at various footwear stores which can be used to measure a customer's foot size in two seconds, while also giving recommended products based on the client's food size and shape.
