NY x GFC F/W ’24 Day 1 – SHOW 1

The Global Fashion Collective showcase brought together fashion designers from around the world in New York City to present their latest collections, which included a diverse range of fashion designs, from traditional to avant-garde.

One of the designers, [UNUSUAL], presented a collection that explored the themes of war, migration, and cultural exchange. The collection combined war-inspired themes and motifs with garments from various cultures, resulting in a stunning blend of traditional and modern fashion.

Fair Enough presented a collection that celebrated fairness and meaningful dialogue. The collection featured patchwork designs that brought together fabrics of different shapes, colours, and textures and also incorporated nature-inspired designs, creating a beautiful and sustainable fashion line.

Get Some Sleep, an introspective clothing brand, presented a collection that explored the universal challenge of overthinking with its bold and colourful pieces.

The brand's signature piece, the knit "What if it's wonderful?" perfectly captured the collection's theme.

Lastly, Stef Mouchie presented a collection for women who see beyond the border, reflecting the brand's commitment to social and environmental responsibility by ensuring that all pieces were ethically produced in Toronto and promoting safe work conditions and fair wages.
