The latest innovation in the field of polo uniforms has premiered, courtesy of Peroni luxury beers and up-and-coming New Zealand designer Samuel Hickey.
Hickey partnered with the Italian beer company to design a polo uniform for their debut team; Team Peroni. The young designer is the founder of the subscription-based men’s clothing service Asuwere, and has taken inspiration from the beer company’s Italian culture in the design of the uniforms.
The teams uniform appear in a crisp white, making them stand out in the sports field, and sport clean lines and minimal detailing aside from Peroni’s logo.
The new uniforms will debut at the 2019 Land Rover New Zealand Polo Open and will be worn by a variety of highly experienced players including Craig Wilson, James Worker and Tommy Wilson.
