Prada Group has announced that Andrea Guerra will be appointed CEO, effective from January 26 2023.
Previously the CEO of Luxottica and LVMH's hospitality unit, Guerra will be taking over co-CEOs Patrizio Bertelli and Miuccia Prada, easing the transition to control to their son Lorenzo Bertelli, the future leader of the group.
The younger Bertelli is currently overseeing the brand's digital marketing and sustainability portfolios.
Miuccia Prada will continue to serve as the Creative Director for Miu Miu and work alongside Raf Simons as the Creative Director of Prada.
Patrizio Bertelli will be appointed as chairman of Prada at an annual shareholder meeting in early 2023, replacing Paolo Zannoni, who will be recommended for executive deputy chairman of the group.
