Spring style will take centre stage this September as Commercial Bay has announced the return of Solstice.
Following the success of previous events, Solstice will return with an exciting programme of runway moments, live entertainment and new-season fashion experiences, inviting Aucklanders to celebrate the changing season in the heart of the city.
A highlight of the four-day celebration will be two open-air runway shows, transforming Commercial Bay’s ground-level laneway into a striking fashion destination.
Curated and styled by leading New Zealand creative Sammy Salsa, the shows will showcase the latest spring collections from Commercial Bay’s premium local and international retailers including Zambesi, Juliette Hogan and Hugo Boss, celebrating the creativity and style of the season ahead.
The runway will come alive on Thursday 24th September at 8 pm and Saturday 26th September at 1 pm, with seated guests and complimentary viewing from Levels One and Two of the precinct.
Adding to the energy of the runway experience, New Zealand DJ P-Money will perform live during both shows, bringing his signature sound and style to one of Auckland’s most anticipated fashion events of the season.
Beyond the catwalk, Solstice will bring Commercial Bay to life with a curated programme of fashion, food and entertainment throughout the four-day celebration. Visitors can discover the latest collections, explore exclusive experiences and enjoy the best of Commercial Bay’s retail and hospitality offering as the city moves into spring.
Head of Consumer Marketing, Lily Montana, said Solstice has become a key highlight on Commercial Bay’s annual calendar. As Auckland continues to evolve, so does the precinct, becoming a place where people come not only to shop and dine, but to discover, connect and experience something new.
This annual celebration of fashion, music and culture will be held from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th of September.
