Vans has teamed up with Independent Truck Co. to release a limited-edition footwear and apparel capsule collection in celebration of the brand’s 40th anniversary.
The limited-edition items were available across selected Vans Pro Skate dealers exclusively on December 1st.
The collection included footwear: Vans Independent Style 360 Pro, featuring an all-over embossed Independent cross logo pattern, a metallic silver sidesteps and signature translucent glossy orange rubber outsole, giving the footwear a luxurious street style look. In addition, a unique set of Vans and Independent pins and tee-shirt with artwork that meshed the iconic checkerboard pattern synonymous with Vans, and the Independent cross were available as part of the range.
The footwear comes in a Vans shoe box with retro graphics and the slogan “Build to Grind”, giving the ensemble a polished and stylish feel all the way down to the packaging.
The range utilized the best featured of each brand, combining Vans classic style and progression with Independents performance attributes. The footwear provides the ultimate durability, ensuring that the extremely limited collection will last the test of time.
