Victorias Secret Angel model, Yfke Sturm is awake from her coma following an accident involving a motorised surfboard. The model was admitted to hospital and placed in an induced coma after being hit by a motorised surfboard while on holiday. Sturm fell from her board and whilst swimming ashore, was hit by the board causing a hairline fracture in her skull.
"Yfke has made an almost full recovery and is up and about walking with her son," said Sturm's spokesperson.
Sturm was discovered at 15 by Elite Model Management and has gone on to work with big name clients including Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Chanel.
