A/W 2024-25 Trends At Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags

With its wide range of product categories, including boots, ankle boots, casual and comfort models, sandals, flip-flops and slip-ons, Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags will provide valuable insights into the main themes for next winter.

Styles spotted at the exhibition for women included elegant, velvet low and sophisticated shoes, while men's fashion showcased timeless selections with a twist.

Bright colours and warm materials like fur are a must-have for bags, while metallics and sequins are in focus for everything.

The new HIGHLIGHTS area analysed items set to become cult items in the coming seasons. Processing techniques that add value were explored, and various material working techniques were compared.

In terms of women's bags, this season will see bags in various attractive shapes and sizes, such as the croissant and classic saddle bags, as well as bucket and oversized shopping bags. Trapezoid-shaped bags also seem to be popular.

Soft tubular-woven bags, classic matelassé, woven techniques, and warm materials like fur are in demand for materials. Patchwork is also a popular choice.

Accessories and metal objects will also complement bags. Unusual chains and handles will be trendy with light and luminous colours, gold plating and sequins.

Men's handbags will also come in varying shapes and sizes, from bulky to small shoulder bags. Soft overnight bags for travelling and structured proposals, thanks to the many stylists who brought them to the catwalk.

Briefcases are being replaced by handbags adapted to the male world and much softer.

Belt bags evolve with a new position and sometimes a very unusual new form. Backpacks will be available in work or more sophisticated versions. Men will also opt for shopping bags as an alternative to the classic, overused backpack.

The next Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags edition is scheduled at the Riva del Garda Exhibition from the 15th to the 18th of June 2024.
