A WORLD FIRST FOR PARIS FASHION SHOW

Model turned event manager, Jessica Minh Anh, will return to Paris next month to execute another world first runway concept for J Autumn Fashion Show. Following the extreme success of her Eiffel Tower runway, Anh has set her sights on transforming the Seine’s giant glass boat into a 100 meter floating catwalk featuring New Zealand brand, Iwi Creations.

“I like how Leilani Rickard carries traditions and treasures of New Zealand into the modern world. She prints on her own fabrics, and encapsulates the multicultural heritage whilst reflecting the melding of Maori and European roots,” said Anh.

As part of the illusion, guests will be seated facing the multi-faceted windows while the boat is cruising, resulting in classic Paris architectural wonders serving as the runway backdrop. The show will bring together art, architecture, culture and fashion in a style Anh is becoming well known for.

“We are extremely honoured to work with Anh on this special project. We have been admiring her iconic productions for years. It is a privilege to have our venue added in Jessica’s famous series of unconventional catwalks,” said Compagnie des Bateaux operations manager, Marco Goncalvez.

This is just one of the many prolific runways Anh has produced throughout her 10 year history of catwalk productions having worked with luxury brands including Montblanc, Graff Diamonds, Paul Costelloe and Yumi Katsura. Anh has produced work in places including the Grand Canyon, the Hudson River, the London Tower and the One World Trade Centre.

The J Autumn Fashion show will be held on 29 October in Paris this year.
