New Zealand has seen a sudden influx of Aussie brand, General Pants, within the new year. With their first opening in Westfield Newmarket, they have announced their fifth store opening in Wellington in six months.
The Wellington store will have a theatre-like retail experience while continuing to offer popular streetwear brands such as Patagonia and Harley Davidson to their New Zealand customers.
CEO Sacha Liang has acknowledged the strong online business General Pants is seeing in New Zealand, and believe that further expanding in the New Zealand market will give customers easy access and greater choice. Something that New Zealand consumers are constantly looking for within the apparel industry.
General Pants will also be opening in Commercial Bay in Auckland late March 2020 and in Sylvia Park.
