CHARITY COLLECTIVE

A group of high-profile designers came together in June to support families and victims of domestic violence.

Following the tragic death of 3-year-old Moko Rangitoheriri, Angela Bevan and Adam Bryce worked with designers including NOM*d, Huffer, Stolen Girlfriends Club, Paris Georgia, Zambesi, Karen Walker, Ingrid Starnes, Wynn Hamlyn and Kate Sylvester to produce La La La Magazine.

The magazine, which takes its name from Rangitoheriri’s favourite song, features a series of portraits of New Zealand children wearing different designer clothing.

"While the fashion industry may seem a world away from such a significant and complex social issue as child abuse, we hold a strong belief that every member of our different communities has something to offer towards a solution,” said Bevan, co-founder, La La La Magazine.

The 48-page magazine is available online for $15, with all proceeds going to Shine, a charity dedicated to working with families and victims of domestic violence.
