COVID-19: A Luxury Brand Steps In

World leaders in luxury; LVMH group, who own brands such as Louis Vuitton, Moet & Chandon and Hennessey, have announced their plan to help the global pandemic of COVID-19.

Anti-bacterial hand sanitisers are in incredibly high demand at the moment, and manufacturers are feeling the pressure. LMVH has decided to use their perfume and cosmetic brands' production lines to produce large quantities of hydroalcoholic gels. These gels will be delivered to health authorities for free.

LVMH has stated that they plan to help out with the production of hand sanitising gels for as long as they are needed. Many other brands such as Foxconn who primarily produce Apple iPhones have started to help produce surgical masks.

It is great to see large corporations take the lead in helping protect people against the COVID-19 outbreak.
