Source, Europe’s leading responsible sourcing show for fashion, home, gifts, and garden, has launched a LinkedIn series.
In the Loop by Source Europe will feature retail experts sharing their hot takes on the fashion industry’s biggest challenges on LinkedIn.
“I think it’s education. We have to go back to basics. We have to have it right the way through schools. We have to have it in public information films,” said Fashion and Identity Commentator Caryn Franklin MBE.
“All brands have to mark it as part of their conversation with their audiences. Governments need to be better informed about the policies that they need to push through.”
Each episode will delve into a new critical question, sharing thought leaders' perspectives on what they believe can help solve this issue.
For the next six weeks, a new episode will be released every Tuesday.
In Episode 1, Source asked the question - "What can the new UK government do to drive sustainability forward?"
Discussing what real sustainability looks like and how policy can lead the way, In the Loop features Anna Pabissi, Caryn Franklin, Mike Coates, Jo Mourant, and Nick Beighton.
“What we’d love is for the government to read our advice that we sent in two years ago, which is about trying to establish clearer definitions for certain terms and also making unsubstantiated environmental claims a banned practice,” said Mike Coates, Assistant Director of the Competitions and Markets Authority.
