LEONARD PARIS SS26 | Old Hollywood Glam

Georg Lux, creative director of LEONARD Paris, drew inspiration from California, as well as the timelessness of Antonio Lopez and Slim Aarons, for his latest collection.

Images of Jerry Hall emerging from palm trees in a Palm Springs garden, Slim Keith sunbathing on silk cushions, and Tony Duquette hosting parties at his exotic Beverly Hills villa all showcased Hollywood glamour.

LEONARD Paris SS26, California, was also inspired by the wardrobes of Hollywood’s golden age actresses. The flowing silhouettes of skillfully draped dresses were paired with very sheer, poolside-inspired kaftans.

At the same time, puffy volumes and exaggerated proportions contrasted with masculine suits, revisited in a more feminine or preppy style.

The collection featured a mix of luxurious textures and light summer fabrics, ranging from printed sequins and transparent silk crepon to subtly hand-embroidered twill with gold sequins and rhinestones.

Cotton jacquard brought a fresh take on traditional cricket-club stripes, while crisp cotton poplin and cotton voile, embroidered with pastel flowers, added a soft spring touch.

The palette captured a sun-kissed, romantic mood with pale apricot, sorbet pink, and soft tones of sea green and sky blue. Acid green and lemon yellow added freshness, while pomegranate red brought bold, artistic energy.

Playful and modern, the prints blend California’s palm trees and pop art influences with nature-inspired motifs. Red and orange poppies represent Antelope Valley’s spring fields, while a new water-flower pattern draws from Tony Duquette’s exotic gardens. A “Neo Art Deco” floral design rounded out the collection, nodding to the 1930s cinema style.
