Lycra Company To Showcase New Products At Intertextile Shanghai

The Lycra Company will showcase its latest products, Lycra Adaptiv Black Fibre, Lycra Adaptiv Xtra Life Fibre and Lycra Sheer Sensation Technology, at Intertextile Shanghai from the 28th to the 30th of August.

These new products meet the market’s need for durable apparel, offering more inclusive sizing, enhanced comfort and greater functionality.

The Lycra Adaptiv Black fibre is for long-lasting activewear and athleisure apparel that helps reduce damage caused by UV rays, sunscreen, and anti-chafing creams, providing durable, spun-in actual black colour that resists fading and minimises fibre grin-through and glitter while the Lycra Adaptiv Xtra Life is an excellent swimwear and activewear option that lasts ten times longer than garments made with unprotected spandex, while also providing shaping and dynamic comfort.

The company’s brand booth will also feature fabrics and garments made with Sheer Sensation, FitSense, CoolMax and Thermolite technologies, alongside other sustainable solutions on display, including fibres made from 100 per cent textile waste, recycled PET, and pre-consumer recycled fibre.

Attendees can also learn about developing bio-derived Lycra fibre made with QIRA, a sustainable offering made with field corn that can potentially reduce CO2 emissions.

“We are thrilled that Intertextile Shanghai is back, and we look forward to meeting with strategic partners and new customers in person after its cancellation last year,” said Vincent Hu, Vice President of Asia, Apparel and President of the APAC region, The Lycra Company.

“We will have two years of new products on display, and we are anticipating great interest in our range of innovative and sustainable offerings designed to meet consumer needs.”

Intertextile Shanghai is also the Asia-Pacific launch pad of Lycra’s new sustainability brand campaign, “Waste for Good,” which promotes the advancement of circularity in the apparel and textile industry.
