Below is a sneak peek of three of the new labels you will find at the TCF Emerging Designers Showcase.

Convict Bags

When ‘Convict Bags’ founders Georgina Lewis and Karen Adie started their range of Australian made handbags and accessories in 2013 they were inspired by their mutual love of the raw beauty of Australia and it’s barefoot lifestyle.

Co-Founder of Convict Bags, Karen Adie said, “Our Convict Bags reflect a raw beauty and pared back design aesthetic with a luxe edge, we use beautiful Italian aniline leathers and hair-on cowhides. We hand make our products in Australia, and we have secured the rights to reproduce the famous poem ‘My Country’ by Dorothea Mackellar onto our products.”

iROCK Jewellery

Designed and made in Melbourne, ‘iROCK Jewellery’ offers an interactive online platform that gives customers the chance to create their own unique necklace, bracelet or earrings.

Founded in 2013, husband and wife team Sarah and Tim Freeman were inspired by the mass customisation trend. Born from a desire to create bold, yet timeless pieces that can be styled up or down, iROCK Jewellery’s signature style is minimalist with a luxe edge. Featuring unexpected details, they create simple silhouettes infused with statement features like Swarovski crystals, symbolic charms and chunky chains.

Lexi Clothing

‘Lexi Clothing’ create easily accessible women’s clothing made from internationally sourced fabrics, combined with streamlined production methods in order to emphasise the meticulous fit of each garment which can only stem from lead designer Pat Georgiou’s 30 plus years in the industry.

Pat’s sons luckily inherited her passion for design, and, after pursuing other careers and ventures they have come back to join Pat in forming a young design team. They have recognised a void in affordable high end women’s fashion and have decided to collaborate and produce a modern and accessible line to capture a part of the market which they see great potential in.
